Conscious Breathing

conscious breathing

With every inhale, receive it all and with every exhale, let it all go.

Isn’t it beautiful that the way we breathe literally teaches us how to surrender and experience each moment as it is without attachment?

Observe, let go, let it be.

Stress, anxiety, worry, depression are all by-products of attachment aka resisting the natural flow of life— it’s like holding onto the air you inhaled (breathing in) without letting it all go (breathing out). This is resistance. And resistance, stresses the body and causes dis(ease).

When you feel drained, you are giving from an empty cup— it’s like trying to breathe out before you even breathe in. It’s again in resistance to the natural flow of life. And resistance, stresses the body and causes dis(ease).

The breath of life shows you what it means to be alive when you simply observe the way you naturally breathe.

Conscious breathing is to experience life in the moment without trying to control it— just like how you naturally breathe. The meeting point between each inhale and exhale— is balance aka life. This is illustrated symbolically in the infinity and yin-yang symbol.

This is why conscious breathing is the fastest way to bring your mind back to the present moment which puts an end to all resistance.

So the next time you feel anxious, worried or depressed, remember to consciously breathe and surrender to the natural flow of your breath.
