Isn’t it poignant that you only question if the Universe has your back when things aren’t going the way you want them to? Ultimately, your true Self is the YOU in the YOUniverse— YOU are the Universe. So what you’re inherently asking is, “Do I trust my true Self?“.

What if the way you want something to pan out, isn’t what you signed up for— and it’s just the ego trying to control and prevent you from realising that— since that would be the end of the ego’s reign of control.

The Universe has your back doesn’t mean that you won’t go through (what your limited self perceives as) turbulent times in your life. It means that with awareness you’ll see through it all. It might not seem like the Universe is there for you when you’re stuck in your ego but you’ll realise it, if you observe the game without complete and total identification to the character that you’re playing in the game of life.

The Universe has your back means divine guidance is always available to you whenever you choose to dissolve into light aka surrender the ego’s need for control so that you don’t have to figure your way out in the darkness.

To surrender to the Universe is not to pass the baton to the Universe to control your life for you. True surrender is letting go of everything that you think you want from your limited perspective so that what will truly fulfil you can unfold naturally and guide your way. 

This is not to give up on life. It is to release control from your limited perspective so that you can consciously evolve, expand your consciousness and experience Reality through Conscious Awakening.
